PDSB is offering online groups for Deaf and Hard of Hearing children 0-6 in Ontario and their families. PDSB will have both spoken English groups as well as ASL groups, they are offering 14 different time slots and interests. They include things for the whole family like story times as well as parent education times for transition to school and playing with math. On the ASL side they are offering things like ASL movement and rhyme, infant ASL story time, toddler ASL story time, and many more. There is something everyday. Parents are encouraged to contact the Educational Coordinators janet.martino@ontario.ca or vida.peric@ontario.ca to register and complete an intake with the Resource Services Program before they join any playgroups.
