Life After Parental Leave: Childcare & Communication Development

What: A workshop for parents of children with permanent hearing loss who are considering daycare for their child. This workshop will provide parents with information on how to guide daycare personnel and/or grandparents/nanny when parents are going back to work. The goal of this workshop is to empower parents and caregivers to guide and coach these “new” language models and “hearing technology guardians”. Presenter: Caterina Ruggirello, PhD – Educational Consultant of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing with the Provincial and Demonstration Schools Branch, Ontario Ministry of Education.
