The mission of the Bob Rumball Associations for the Deaf is to build better futures for Deaf children and adults with special needs, to help them experience a higher quality of life and strive to be contributing members of society. Our belief is that Deaf people with special needs have the right to develop their fullest potential.
Our programs are designed to meet the needs of Deaf and Deafblind individuals with special needs. We provide case management, service delivery coordination, day programs (literacy, activities, job and volunteer placement in the community), residential programs, parent relief/ respite and children’s mental health services.

Our qualified staff are trained to provide expert care and are proficient in ASL for barrier-free communication. People with special needs function and grow best when they can understand and be understood by those around them.

Our organization provides services and supports to individuals and their families that are unparalleled in Ontario. Without us, our clients would be isolated, culturally deprived and marginalized. We give Deaf individuals with special needs a place to belong, a place to call home and a place in their community.
