The Bob Rumball Foundation for the Deaf
The Bob Rumball Foundation for the Deaf supports the Deaf by providing funding for activities, services and programs to further the quality of life of Deaf people in Ontario through the work of its four associated organizations: The Bob Rumball Centre for the Deaf in Toronto, The Bob Rumball Associations for the Deaf in Milton, The Bob Rumball Long Term Care Home for the Deaf in Barrie and The Bob Rumball Camp for the Deaf in Parry Sound.
Your Fundraising Dollars Will:

Bring much needed dollars to the Bob Rumball Foundation for the Deaf. The Foundation will direct your proceeds where they are needed the most. For example:
  • Help to support Deaf children and adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities, mental health issues, deaf-blindness and at-risk and troubled youth.
  • Help Deaf newcomers reach their goals of independence in Canada through training and education.
  • Send a kid to Camp! The Bob Rumball Camp of the Deaf provides a place of opportunity for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Multiple Handicapped young people. Our campers enjoy a camping experience in a safe and barrier-free environment.
  • Make a difference! Help us support our preschool program. (Ages 2 ½ to 5 years who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing or have special needs).
  • Support our Deaf seniors who may also face other challenges, such as: dementia, mental health issues, and functional disabilities.

And at the same time you can:
  • Get involved, team-build, participate and have some fun!
  • Get to know your colleagues or community better by sharing in goodwill spirit!
  • Invite fellow companies/clients or community members to get involved and challenge them to meet or beat your donation!
  • Learn more about the Deaf community and maybe some American Sign Language (ASL) along the way!
  • Feel good knowing you, your company or community have made a difference!
