Chair of the BoardJane is a C.O.D.A., and has been a valuable member of Bob Rumball Organizations for more than 40 years, beginning in her early years at the Camp. She has been on the board for more than 20+ years, and has recently taken up the position as the Chairperson. Professionally, she’s the Senior Crown Counsel at the Ministry of Attorney General.
Alistair M. Fraser
Board DirectorAlistair has served on the board for 35+ years in different capacities, including the Chairman of the Board up until several years ago. He brings with him a strong background of Executive Management, and was formerly the President and Chief Executive Officer of Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, and was also a founding member of the Kids’ Help Phone.
Board DirectorArthur is a passionate supporter of Reverend Rumball’s cause, and has been involved with the Ontario Mission of the Deaf (founding organization of B.R.C.D. and Bob Rumball Camp of the Deaf) for 35+ years, and was their Chairman for the past 10 years. He visits and contributes to the Camp regularly, and is also deeply involved with other Deaf organizations such as the Gospel Deaf Fellowship in Kitchener.
Chris is a distinguished leader in the Deaf community, and is a strong advocate for consumer accessibility and rights. He was formerly the President and C.E.O. at the Canadian Hearing Society. He has been a board member of the Bob Rumball Canadian Centre of Excellence for the Deaf (formerly B.R.C.D.) since 2009.
Board DirectorElaine is passionate about the community she lives in, and was looking for ways to serve them 7 years ago, and that was when she came across B.R.A.D. (now the B.R.C.C.E.D.), and have been serving on the board since, of which, 6 of those years being the Chair of the Board. This has been a life-changing relationship for both Elaine and her extended family as they have gained understanding of the special needs of the Deaf community. Professionally, she holds a CPA CMA degree and is currently the Director of Operations for St John Ambulance.
Board DirectorJan is passionate about the society, and is a strong advocate against social injustices and inequalities, and has over 35 years of community service and leadership experience. She strongly believes that in order to understand the community, one must be involved in the community and work within it. She has also dedicated herself to respresenting the public, including two terms on Milton Council (2003-2010), and has been serving on the BRAD (now amalgamated as BRCCED) Board of Directors since 2013.
Board DirectorMark is President of MKSK Management Inc. which provides specialized consulting services to the financial services industry in the areas of Treasury, Retail Lending, Commercial Lending and Risk Management. Mark’s most recent engagement was with Wealth One Bank of Canada, Canada’s newest Schedule I bank, where he was a key member of the management team responsible for obtaining the bank’s licence and launching operations.
Board Director (Finance)Robert has been on the board for more than 25 years serving as the Finance Director. Professionally, he is a Chartered Accountant, and is an associate partner in Audit and Assurance Group of PwC. He is a member of the Private Company Services group, specializing in the automotive, retail, manufacturing, software, and not-for-profit sectors.
Board DirectorShelley has 30+ years of experience in Human Resources and Total Rewards both in the Public and Private Sector. She has worked in Health Care, Retail, Manufacturing, High Tech and the Financial / Insurance industry for Canadian and Global companies. Her career passion is in the overall Employee Experience in the workplace and how we can enable people to reach their potential, make a difference and find meaning and joy in the work they do. Her life passion is her family and friends and making every second together count.
